CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF EASY SHOWER® SHOWERS

All showers of the Easy Shower® series are constructed with the finest materials and finishes for outdoor furniture. Stainless steel, like all beautiful and valuable materials, requires special care and attention.
How to remove unsightly stains, fingerprints, and limescale.
For AISI 316 and AISI 316L stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish, recommended for marine environments, swimming pools, spas, and salt and chlorine environments:
Just two simple steps: cleaning and polishing. To clean the exterior surfaces, use a clean microfiber cloth or other cloth (especially scratch-resistant) with warm water and/or any non-aggressive detergent (e.g., for stainless steel hobs). This will effectively clean the surface, removing dust and grease. Before polishing, remove limescale deposits. Limescale is simply the result of the crystallization of minerals in water, so depending on the hardness of the water and the type of minerals, it can be more or less stubborn to clean. For example, some well water may contain iron that, when deposited, turns surfaces red. The longer it remains on surfaces, the more it accumulates and hardens, becoming truly difficult to remove. One of the most widely used products is ViaKal Classic Spray because it is specifically designed to combat the most stubborn limescale without damaging the surfaces, leaving a long-lasting shine. Simply spray the product on the affected surface and let it act for five minutes. At this point, the limescale will have dissolved and you can remove any traces with a cloth before rinsing with water.
For AISI 316 and AISI 316L stainless steel with a Scotch Brite or fine brushed and satin finish:
The same external surface cleaning steps are used as for mirror-polished stainless steel; obviously, it will not be polished. If any imperfections remain due to the delicate finish, you can use a non-woven abrasive cloth/sponge for satin finishing, which is very common and available at any hardware store. Wipe the surface in the same direction as the original finish lines.
For AISI 304 stainless steel with a powder-coated finish:
For this type of finish, the same external surface cleaning steps are used as for mirror-polished stainless steel, so the same products and instructions are used.
How to maintain hydraulic components.
To clean or descale brass or chrome-plated faucets, mixers, timers, and shower heads, it's recommended to disassemble them (like all the components included in each Easy Shower® shower) every two or three months if used continuously. Then, soak the entire shower in a solution of vinegar and hot water, or in a specially sold descaling solution, or immerse it in Coca-Cola.
To clean or descale exposed polished, satin, or powder-coated stainless steel components, use a non-corrosive descaling solution; hot water and vinegar solutions are also suitable. Then, polish or remove stains and limescale by rubbing with a clean, non-scratch cloth soaked in ViaKal Classic. For satin or brushed surfaces, use the same method described above in the "How to remove stains..." section.
How to maintain composite wood decking.
Automatic tilting platforms, fittings, and all composite wood components can be disassembled or left assembled, then washed with a hot water jet (preferably) and then brushed with water and a neutral detergent. If any permanent stains or minor imperfections remain, the surface can be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper in the direction of the slat finish.
