Level II Rhinoceros Accelerated Training Course for Windows

 

Course Type:

The course includes theoretical lessons with McNeel guidance for the correct use of a 2D-3D drawing system and tutorials specifically designed for the students' various industrial sectors.

 

Duration:

40 hours

 

Location:

1 to 4 students (RRDESIGN studio, Via Righini, 10/a Forlimpopoli - FC)

5 to 12 students (FABLAB classroom in the Forlì-Cesena area)

Program Description:

- Advanced transformation and editing commands for curves

- Continuity Basics G0, G1, G2, G3, G4, and curve control graphs
- Surfaces from curves and 'Primitive' surfaces
- Solids, construction, and advanced modification
- Advanced surface transformation and modification commands
- Advanced fillets

- Transforming Rhinoceros .3dm model files into other 3D model files
- Exporting and importing .stl files for 3D printing

- Rhinoceros rendering tools and plugins such as Flamingo NxT or Keyshot

 

Who is it for:

The course is aimed primarily at those working in the fields of industrial design, naval design, jewelry design, artistic craftsmanship in general, architecture, furniture, footwear, tensile-structure design, automotive design, and anywhere there is a need for curved work, whether unconventional or derived from freehand drawings, always precise and dimensioned using Rhino's NURBS geometry.

 

Prerequisites:

The course requires knowledge of basic Rhino tools. Rhinoceros 2D-3D or have attended a Level I course recognized by McNeel.

 

Objective:

The objective of the course is to consolidate learning about Rhinoceros for modeling any type of object. The teaching methodology requires that students, through specially designed tutorials, be able to draw independently and understand the method.

 

Title:

At the end of each course, a Level I McNeel Authorized Certification will be issued (for those who attend at least 80% of the scheduled hours).
