Program Description:

- Rhinoceros interface: default toolbars and layout customization

- Two-dimensional drawing commands: first-degree curves, second-degree curves, and freeform curves form

- Transformation and editing commands for curves

- Introduction to 3D space

- Surfaces from curves and 'Primitive' surfaces

- Solids, construction and editing

- Transformation and editing commands for surfaces

- G0, G1, G2 continuity bases

- Basic fillets

- File export and import for machining on CNC CAD-CAM machines

- 2D drafting

- 2D printing

Who is it for:

The course is aimed primarily at those working in the fields of industrial design, naval design, goldsmithing, artistic craftsmanship in general, architecture, furniture, footwear, tensile-structure, automotive, and anywhere there is a need for curved work, outside the box or derived from freehand drawings, always precise and dimensioned using Rhino's NURBS geometry.

Prerequisites:

The course requires knowledge of the basic elements of 2D-3D geometry and a working knowledge of of the Windows operating system, as well as a strong learning experience.

Objective:

The objective of the course is to learn the fundamental concepts of Rhinoceros for modeling any type of object, be it architecture, design, jewelry, etc. The teaching methodology aims to gradually develop independence and, by the end of the course, to be able to draw independently.

Title:

At the end of each course, a Level I McNeel Authorized Certification will be awarded (for those who attend 100% of the scheduled hours).
